Mr. Verona was born in New York City, New York.  He attended college at the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University where he received his B.S.M. Degree in 1988.  He then attended the University of Miami School of Law and obtained Jurisprudence Doctorate degree in 1991.  He is admitted to practice in both the Federal and State Courts in the State of Florida.

Mr. Verona has achieved the highest peer review rating attesting to a lawyer’s legal ability and professional ethics by members of the bar and judiciary as set forth in his preeminent attorney rating by Martindale-Hubbell.  He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, and serves as a Guardian Ad Litem.

Mr. Verona has been practicing in the areas of General Liability and Professional Liability, including medical negligence and construction litigation throughout the Courts in the State of Florida.  He has served on the adjunct faculty at City College and lectured at the University of Miami School of Law on numerous occasions.  Mr. Verona has represented self-insured corporations, insurance companies and third party administrators in a wide range of insurance defense matters.  He has also argued cases before several of the District Courts of Appeal in the State of Florida and has successfully won leading rulings and has succeeded in arguing one of the leading defense slip and fall cases in the State of Florida.
